Roughing Step Drills Complement Port Tools

Scientific Cutting Tools, a provider of carbide and carbide-tipped cutting tools, offers Roughing Step Drills for SAEJ1926 and AS5202 ports. The drills are designed specifically to prepare holes for those ports, sizes -2 through -8.
Composed of high quality 10% micro-grain carbide with coolant through holes, the Roughing Drills are designed for enhanced wear resistance for longer tool life and reduced cycle time. The drills are meant to be used in a variety of types of ferrous materials, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys.
